The Hungry Hustle Ugly Sweater 5k begins at 10:30am at the City of St. George Crosby Family Confluence Park, 2099 S Convention Center Dr, St George, UT.
Each of the 5 kilometers will be marked with some fun activities including tinsel, Christmas trees, snowballs, candy canes, a selfie with Santa (the real one!) and much more!
So find your ugliest sweater, put on your running shoes and be prepared for a fun run filled with Christmas joy (and a whole lot of happy, non-hungry kids)!
Food Drive:
8:00am to 1:00pm – For those that don’t want to run, don’t have the time to enjoy the fun run with us or just want to donate food to help feed hungry kids, Confluence Park will also be a food drive drop off location from 8:00am to 1:00pm the day of the 5k event.

Each Individual applicant will receive a goodie bag, t-shirt, and a selfie with Good Ol’ St Nick.
Each Family will receive goodie bags for each runner, 3 t-shirts (you can purchase more), and a selfie with Good Ol’ St Nick!
You can order as many additional family t-shirts as you would like for $10 each.

Now, About Picking Up Your Stuff…
At 9:00am, Packet pick-up and the festivities begin. You can pick up your packet/goodie bag, including your Ugly Sweater t-shirt under the gazebo in the center of the Confluence Park. Bring a smile and tell us who you are! We’ll check out your ugly sweater and make some mental notes so we know who to give the awards for ugliest sweater!
Where to park…
There will be limited parking at the Confluence Park. Show up early to get Rock Star Parking!
Overflow parking will be at the south end of the Dixie Center Parking Lot.

After you finish running you should expect…
Following the 5k, to replenish your energy, there will be free light refreshments and a freshly made pancakes and hot chocolate for purchase!
Then we’ll pass out prizes!
Prizes are graciously provided by St George Running Center:
- There will be prizes for Male and Female 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
- There will also be awards for Men’s and Women’s Ugliest Sweater.

Hungry Hustle Ugly Sweater 5k Fun Run
Every year, hunger affects millions of Americans and the state of Utah is not exempt from the problem.
In Utah, 1 in 5 children face hunger.
In Washington County, 875 families with a child in school are considered “Homeless”.
Washington County has 25 Elementary schools, of which 13 are considered Title One schools, meaning that over 65% of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch.
Childhood hunger is a serious issue that Tan’s Treats believes can be solved. We are doing everything we can to fight hunger but we can’t do it alone.

In this holiday spirited 5k Fun Run we are going to “Hustle” in an effort to keep children from being “Hungry”. And we’re going to do it sporting our Ugliest Sweaters, because that’s what you do in December, right?

8:00am – Food Drive begins at Confluence Park. Food drop off is available until 1:00pm.
9:00am – Packet pick-up and festivities begin.
10:30am – Hungry Hustle 5k begins.
The primary purpose of this event is to raise funds in order to provide food to children in need.
More Information about Tan’s Treats
Tan’s Treats is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the needs of the children in our community. Each year thousands of children in the United States get out of school for the weekend and return home to a less than adequate supply of food. Their needs during the week are being met with school breakfast and lunch but they are left to go hungry over the weekend. As an organization we coordinate food efforts together with their schools to get them guaranteed weekend meals. Science has proven children who are hungry have a much harder time performing well in school and we believe every student deserves a fair chance at succeeding and that no child should go hungry.
